2 MLAs mention Geelani’s name during obituary reference | KNO

Srinagar, Nov 05 (KNO): Two legislators of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday mentioned the name of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani during the obituary reference to the deceased lawmakers. Speaking in the House during the obituary reference, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Peoples Democratic Party MLA from Tral Rafiq Naik paid tributes to Geelani. He said that Geelani was a good orator and his contribution to the legislative assembly cannot be disregarded. “Our political ideologies are different but he was also a member of this House,” he said. National Conference leader Bashir Ahmad Veeri also paid tributes to Geelani, saying that he represented an aspiration—(KNO)
